All I Wanted Was an In-N-Out Burger!

Those were the words that Paris Hilton said the day after being released for her D.U.I. arrest while on her way to the Hollywood location. If you have ever eaten at In-N-Out, you know exactly the craving Paris had that night.

This West Coast chain triumphs over all others and is one of a handful of fast food chains we will eat at.

The first location opened in 1948 in Southern California and the company is still run by the same family. It is a privately held company with locations in California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. There are no plans to expand to the East Coast which is why most people go out of there way to eat here when visiting the West Coast. There is one very convenient location near the Los Angeles airport which is a first stop for many celebrities.

The burger of choice is usually the double double but there is also a "secret menu" which you can order from at any location. The most popular is any burger "animal style". This includes grilled onions, extra spread, pickles and "fried mustard". You can also order fries "animal style", a 3x3, a 4x4, a Neapolitan shake, a grilled cheese sandwich, and a flying Dutchman (two patties, two cheese with no buns or condiments). Also, there is no limit on how many patties you can order in your burger.

Eating at In-N-Out is a MUST for any burger lover!
