El Toro Taco is one of the only places in South Florida that serves authentic Mexican food. Open since 1974 and located in Homestead, Florida, it is approximately a 45 minute drive from Downtown Miami. This family owned business serves good tacos, burritos, and fajitas but they do not serve alcohol. They do allow you to BYOB. I have seen people bring in coolers full of beer.


People that have been coming here for years complain that the service and food have deteriorated but it has not stopped El Don from eating here regularly.
